"The Story Bag"

How the story really began... Our story began about three years ago at Mosman wharf. It was spring time, the Jacarandas were in full bloom and a new café up the road brewed beautiful lattes. It was then that a very social Australian introduced a Canadian marketing director that was pretty new to the country, to a German journalist that was on the look-out for new story ideas and contacts. They became friends, spent nights cooking up Italian, French or Indian feasts, went on excursions and chatted about business.
"The Story Bag" was born a few years into this friendship when they both realized they could combine forces.
The Canadian - Meena - had just left a high profile marketing position at American Express in Sydney and was looking to start up her own business.

The German – Barbara – had just sold her first business, a website - and was busy establishing herself as a writer for German publishers about Australia. During her work Barbara came across a media agency in Germany that bought several short stories from her – not to publish them in books or magazines but on paper bags... The chatting about business began soon after and the idea was born to
